Dad readied the horses and stage for the Parade in Weaverville, CA. The stage is the original restored overland coach that went from Weaverville to Redding. Cadence even got to help Dad drive the rig!

Beautiful Glass Wind Chimes

New from Hulet Glass!

Patty and Dinah Hulet began creating tuned glass wind chimes in the '70s and sold countless numbers of them through galleries, gift shops, and various major their production line only to bring them back into production when demand rises. They are now offering these fabulous wind chimes again.

The chimes are carefully tuned to the pitches of a major chord. They were designed to be hung indoors near a window or anywhere there may be a breeze. They are also perfect for outdoors on the patio, deck, porch, or in the garden. One buyer reported that she has a set hanging in her garden and, due to the transparency of the glass, guests are stumped as to where the melodious sounds originate.

Our good buddy Heather Trimlett is teaching a class at the Penland School of Crafts in Penland, NC this week. What a treat! Penland School of Crafts is a national center for craft education located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Heather's first experience at Penland was teaching with Dinah way back in 2002. Two things in life that everyone should experience are Heather's colorful, creative glass beads and the Penland School of Crafts.
